Why could be the reason or reasons the Thermo King APU on my Peterbilt does not start?

first you need to see if the module will power on, if it won’t, then you will have to go to TK and have the main fuse replaced, it is in the bottom of the the unit. It is something you cannot do yourself. If that fuse has blown, have the tech check the power lead for the starter, to make sure it isn’t grounding on the frame of the unit. I have had my Tripac for a year and a half now, and this is the only problem I have had with it to date. There is also a reset button on the side of the unit in the sleeper, it is on the left side of the unit, if you are looking at the hour meters fore the APU and the heater. Hope this helps.

My husbands Thermo King APU comes on for a couple minutes, shuts off and will not come on again. What could be the reason for this.

My heater comes on runs as it should, then after 5-10 minutes shuts down. Yet will restart, if reset it at thermostat, and repeats this as long as I do.

My TriPac drains my truck batteries instead of charging them. Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

9000 for a APU is a over bloated price… I just bought one on EBAY , refurbed and ready to go for $3000. dont let TK jack you on pricing

you can by-pass that switch on the back to stop the relay "poping" off when you try to start unit. cut the old blue plug off and just butt connect the wires together.
