WHAT SETS THE CAB COMFORT SYSTEM “CCS” APART?

Maximum Fuel Savings In ECONO Mode, the CCS maximizes fuel savings by running the APU only when necessary to maintain the temperature in the cab and to ensure the truck will start in all conditions. An additional benefit is the reduction in operating hours, extending the life of your APU.
The Reliable One The CCS APU technology, is derived from proven military APU experience, employing advanced reliability features: a rugged Kubota engine; a direct-driven generator (no belt); a proven heating and air-conditioning system; and a durable, corrosion-resistant powder coat paint enclosure.
Shared Cooling Tie into the truck engine’s cooling system to maximize heating efficiency and minimize fuel consumption, or choose the optional stand-alone remote radiator – the choice is yours.
Compact The APU takes up only 21 in. of frame rail space and weighs only 425 lbs. fully charged.
Easy To Use The CCS is controlled through a single, simple to use panel in the truck’s cab.
Easy To Install Every aspect has been quality engineered and designed for the simplest and quickest possible installation with pre-assembled military type wiring harness & connectors and pre-charged refrigerant lines.
Quiet and Low Vibration CCS sets a new benchmark in reducing noise and vibration – enough that even cycling on and off will not awaken drivers.
Low Maintenance 500 hours between oil changes – service the APU when you service your truck.
Maximum Power The 6kW CCS has all the power you need to meet your heating, air-conditioning, battery charging and internal power requirements.
Cold Starting The automatic cold starting system allows the APU to start at temperatures down to -40°F (-40°C)–no worries about cold starting.
Shore Power The available shore power option goes a step beyond. Not only can the CCS system operate from external power, it also keeps your batteries charged. Operate indefinitely from shore power-no need to turn off running lights, fridges, etc.
Dual Operation Lock-Out This option prevents simultaneous operation of truck engine and APU….
