Great resource.....

As I sit here and write this post the new National Idle-Reduction campaign is hitting the transportation industry harder than any other sector. But you already know that, and in reality not all the facts that are emerging are bad. Brand new industries are being created or dramatically increased in size like APU manufacturing and sales, almost unknown until 2006. Now we are even seeing level 3 filters designed specifically to reduce emissions on earlier model APUs.

You all better than anyone know that well maintained equipment lasts longer and performs better. It all comes down to time issues and your equipment needs to be on the road to be generating income.

Now these additional technologies add a whole new maintenance cycle check list of things to service often much different than truck maintenance cycles. A case in point is the APUs normal mounting points are in some of the most hostile environments anywhere. Constant vibration, corrosive sprays, grime and dirt are just a few of the elements the equipment is experiencing along with heavy daily use. No matter how well they are built they still need scheduled maintenance; and as an example Carrier’s Dean Lande recommends in addition to oil and air filter changes at 1,000 hours that the radiator and condenser fins also be cleaned. That can mean two or more recommended radiator and condenser cleanings per year for a typical over the road truck.

That’s where Rx Rad Power™ may assist you in achieving some of the new SmartWay? emission reduction criteria like lowering C02 and NOx emissions to improve air quality. Now you’re probably asking yourself what does that have to do APUs and equipment maintenance. Well a cleaner radiator and condenser actually reduces the equipments energy consumption; which, increases fuel mileage. Additionally, it increases the life of the radiator and condenser by keeping the vehicle’s components from running under high temperatures and pressure. Finally, it boosts fuel efficiency by increasing air flow and lowering the engines running temperature. That means it saves your company money on fuel costs alone.

Up until now only highly toxic, alkaline products were available to accomplish these demanding cleaning tasks. Yea, they did a good job on removing dirt and debris but also removing the finish on chrome and painted surfaces plus they destroy rubber seals and electric wiring. Rx Rad Power™ was created as an external, eco-friendly spray on foaming activator. It will easily clean the oil, dust, insects and other particulate road debris along with oxidized metals outside the radiator and condenser quickly and safely.

Since everyone knows oxidized metal doesn’t conduct heat just imagine the improved performance realized by one simple application of our foaming activator. A typical radiator is discolored from oil, dirt, insects and oxidized metal but after receiving the 10 minute Rx Rad Power™ treatment you’d think it’s almost new. Experiencing these type results in such a short time will, we believe, increase the frequency of condenser and radiator cleanings; first because of ease, second and really more importantly for enhanced performance and equipment longevity. The two-fold effect should lower the number of equipment failures from improper maintenance intervals and boost equipment profitability; since it will run more efficiently.

You may have heard or read about Rx Rad Power™ already but if not you soon will; just for the record this protocol is only new in the United States. You see this revolutionary product has been used successfully by companies such as Nissan, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Hyundai and Honda in Taiwan for several years and is just now available in the United States through our exclusive North American Distributor Radiator Rx.

To learn just how effective Rx Rad Power™ is and to determine if it would be a benefit to you and your organization take a look at some before and after photos at http://greenradiatorcleaner.com/?page_id=77

I think we all agree that you need to be able to increase productivity in order for us all to be competitive in today’s market place. Rx Rad Power™ will cut your clean up time to just under 10 minutes, simply wet the radiator and condenser, spray on Rx Rad Power™, wait 5 minutes and rinse with a garden hose. It’s that easy!!

As you think about this new information and reflect how nice it will be to find a product that can live up to its claims be my guest to contact me at your convenience toll free with any questions you may have or to find out how easily your company can start experiencing the king of clean - Rx Rad Power™.

Unfortunately, there is no real way to say what unit is the best, it really depends on your situation. For instance, trucks with large custom sleepers typically need a unit with a dedicated generator for the high power demands of rooftop A/C, stoves, microwaves, etc. Since the Tripac only has an alternator/inverter, it would rate VERY low in that situation.

Reply to this comment and maybe I will have some better suggestions.

Thanks,

Hi guys,
I'm with RigMaster Power and after checking out your website found that you are in need of some new upto date information. As of Jan 20, 2009 the original RigMaster Power Corp. shut down and is no longer in business. As of April 1, 2009, Mobile Thermo Systems Inc., RigMaster Power's largest parts supplier, took over the product line from the bank and took over the name RigMaster Power and all it's logos and intellectual properties. We have made RigMaster Power a division of Mobile Thermos Systems Inc., and are using the RigMaster name as our trade name. Needless to say we now not only manufacture the majority of the components for the RigMaster APU in house but also assemble and market the unit in house making the unit the only APU on the market truly designed, engineered, fabricated, manufactured and assembled under one roof. The current model we produce is the MTS T4-6 model utilizing the same Perkins T4 engine and is built on the same platform that every RigMaster owner is familiar with. We have made many engineering improvements to address issues with the original 2008 RigMaster design and all components introduced into the new units are retro fit table to older RigMaster units. The unfortunate item that needs to be mentioned is that we only hold RigMaster Power in name and so all original build units no longer have their warranties as the original owners of RigMaster Power Corp. have walked away from the product and are not honoring those remaining warranties to our knowledge. All new units built by Mobile Thermo Systems come with a base 1 yr/2000 hour warranty and a powertrain warranty from Perkins or Cat of 2yrs/2000 hrs. Customers have the option to get the full 2yr/ 4000 hr warranty (excluding powertrain) on all units at the time of purchase. As for the dealer network, over 90% of RigMaster dealers have resigned with our company and will continue to sell and service RigMaster units. Dealers who have opted not to rejoin the network still have access to parts to help out customers and we are continuing to add new dealers to our network to grow even bigger. Our website, www.rigmasterpower.com has a new dealer locator utilizing Google maps and should definitely be checked out by everyone interested in a new unit or trying to find a service center.
