Unfortunately, there is no real way to say what unit is the best, it really depends on your situation. For instance, trucks with large custom sleepers typically need a unit with a dedicated generator for the high power demands of rooftop A/C, stoves, microwaves, etc. Since the Tripac only has an alternator/inverter, it would rate VERY low in that situation.

Reply to this comment and maybe I will have some better suggestions.

Thanks,
Chris

Mine leaks water on all the hose fittings from day one. The install done by local Peterbilt Dealer left a lot to desire. I had to redo a lot of there work.It is easy on fuel but very noisy, I would appreciate if someone who got the owners manual & maby a parts list to copy it & email it to me, My box didn't have one in it.

To all who don't know about us, we carry almost every part for the Frigette. The only problem our company is really having is locating the oem water valve but have found a comparable one for replacement. It is very unfortunate that Frigette went out of business because we have installed many units for them and now have to tell the customers that Frigette won't honor any warranties, but, our company will help however we can by giving breaks on the labor on units that were under warranty. Sorry for any inconvenience Frigette has brought to you guys, by no means is our company part of Frigette. Cantwell Power Solutions. 817-731-2841.
